Service Dog Training

My mission is to bring together my passions for dog training and teaching people, to help you bring out the best in your dog! I'm not just a dog trainer, I'm a people teacher! I have a degree in education with many years’ experience teaching science and biology to all age groups. In addition, I have more than 13 years of experience working as a dog trainer. I am ready to teach you how to train your dog!

I offer agility classes and individual coaching. Whether you are just starting out or are an experienced competitor looking to work on new skills or solve training issues, I can help.

Obedience private lessons are also available. I can help you prep puppies and young dogs for a great life. Lessons focus on basic behaviors and manners and/or on solving and preventing unwanted behaviors, such as jumping and pulling on the leash—just to name a few!

My philosophy is that training should be effective, easy, fun, and fear-free for you and your best friend. This view guides all of my training: teaching manners, dealing with a behavior problem, or learning the fun sport of agility.

Our training building has ample space to learn and play, with comfortable, non-slip agility flooring to keep you and your dog safe. We have two fenced areas that keep dogs secure when we work outdoors. These spaces are also available for rent!

Our students and guests enjoy walking on the wooded trails and in the open fields before or after class. Sometimes lessons take us out there, too!

We are located in western New York, between Buffalo and Rochester. There is easy access to Clever Paws from the NYS Thruway (Route 90) as well as from the major roads of Route 5 and Route 33.
