Dog Training

I'm a Certified Veterinary Technician, with Fear Free (Veterinary) credentials. In addition to being a Karen Pryor Certified Training Partner, I have my CPDT-KA through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers® (CCPDT®).

I worked at Bark N Roll in North Reading, MA for almost 5 years, where I focused on reactive dogs both in a classroom setting and private sessions. I also ran puppy playgroups to introduce owners to body language and appropriate play dynamics under supervision. Now that I do private sessions on my own, I still enjoy working with both reactive and anxious dogs, in addition to pups of all ages in need of manners. I love to incorporate aspects of dog-sports (nosework and parkour in particular) into my training for confidence building with otherwise insecure dogs.

I can also be found training veterinary procedures and body handling/husbandry care at VCA Wakefield Animal Hospital in an effort to reduce the anxiety many dogs suffer whenever they require medical care.
