As a responsible breeder, my goal is to breed to improve while preserving the traits unique to the Labrador Retriever. This means selective breeding for soundness—both in structure and temperament, and for health. Proper soundness and health enables the dog to be versatile, true to it's breed. Careful planning goes into selecting parents, for it's their offspring that will enhance my breeding program in the future. Before being considered as parents, I ensure that the dogs meet the AKC breed standard for Labrador Retrievers and complete health clearances recommended by the National Labrador Retriever Club. Simply, well-bred Labradors make good family pets.
