A quality Standard Poodle will have a calm disposition, strong conformation, intelligent personality, patience, and a desire to please. They are completely non- shedding, almost odor free, love the water and like to play hard. They can be quiet and make wonderful watch dogs for your family or they will sleep all day if you let them. The poodle is one of the most diversified dog I know. For the families that think they want a Doodle you really need to meet a poodle and understand that all the other breeds(some kind of doodle ) just want the poodle.
