A Better Way to Spend the Weekend — Movement, Puppies, and Smiles.
Kids Puppy Yoga Experience is a fun, feel-good weekend activity for children ages 7–12, right here in Hollywood, LA.
Each session lasts 75 minutes and blends gentle, guided movement with plenty of puppy time. It's inspired by yoga but designed specifically for kids, using standing and seated movement only — no poses on the floor.
Sessions are run as drop-off experiences, so the room includes just the instructor, an assistant, the kids, and the puppies. This helps everyone stay relaxed and focused—and gives parents a little free time on the weekend, too.
Here’s how each session is carefully paced:
• 30 minutes of guided, age-appropriate yoga designed to support focus, balance, and ease
• 30 minutes of supervised puppy playtime with gentle, calm interaction in a safe environment
• 15 minutes for group transition, allowing children to arrive and depart without rush while the puppies are already resting
• An additional 15-minute dedicated puppy rest period, creating a total of 30 minutes of downtime between sessions to support the puppies’ comfort, well-being, and consistent energy throughout the day.
This isn’t a traditional yoga class, and it’s not free play either. Think of it as a quieter alternative to crowded playgrounds—a chance for kids to move their bodies, laugh with puppies, and unwind a bit. Along the way, kids naturally get familiar with a few simple movements they can enjoy again later.

I was invited to the very first Kids Puppy Yoga session, and wow, I didn’t expect to be this impressed.
The whole experience was adorable chaos in the best possible way. Kids trying to hold yoga poses while puppies climbed all over them, everyone laughing, puppies doing puppy things — it was perfect.
What really stood out was how naturally the kids connected with the animals. No phones, no screens, just pure joy and real interaction. The instructor was fantastic as well — calm, attentive, and clearly someone who genuinely cares about both kids and dogs.
I honestly didn’t think mixing yoga and puppies could work this well, but it absolutely does. If you have kids and want them to try something truly fun, not just “educational fun,” this is definitely worth checking out.
