Keeping a high-energy breed satisfied when it's too hot to run
Nova is a Border Collie, she needs real output every day or she gets destructive, but LA has been brutal the last couple weeks. I've had to get creative — flirt pole in the garage at 7am, frozen kong puzzles midday, actual off-leash run only after 7pm. Curious what other high-drive breed owners are doing to fill the gap without overheating the dog.

I think this is so smart honestly, I never would've thought of a flirt pole for indoor energy burn. Luna's a cat so lower stakes for me but I imagine it's way harder with a working breed like Nova, you're clearly on top of it though
