Abyssinians have this whole reputation for loving water more than most cats and I genuinely didn't believe it until this week, he now sits in the empty tub just waiting, chirping at me if I walk by without turning the faucet on. Reading up on the breed's history it tracks with how active and curious they were bred to be, but living it day to day is a whole different experience. Anyone else own a breed with a quirky reputation that turned out to be completely accurate?
