Wrinkles make everything harder, heat AND parasite checks both
Waffles' face folds are adorable and also genuinely the worst place to do a thorough skin check, humidity plus all those creases is a lot to manage in an Albany summer that's been more brutal than usual lately. Daily wipe-downs for the folds, careful checks for anything hiding in there, and shortened outdoor time. Being a Pug owner in a real heat stretch is basically a part-time job some weeks.

Sounds like a lot of work but clearly worth it for her. Wrinkly breeds always did need more looking after than folks expect, back in my day or now.
