Duchess is out with the goats most of the day, that's her whole job, and between the sheer volume of coat and the ground she covers protecting them, checking her properly takes real time every single evening. Started doing it in sections over about thirty minutes rather than trying to rush through the whole dog at once. Worth every bit of the effort given how much exposure a working guardian breed actually gets compared to a yard dog.
