Boulder evenings are cooling off fast but the creek behind the house hasn't gotten the memo
Boulder (the cat, confusing I know) gets supervised time on the back deck most evenings, and with a creek running behind the property I got curious whether the altitude and cooling nights actually reduced mosquito activity here. Vet said not really, standing and slow-moving water nearby matters more than elevation or evening temperature alone. Staying consistent with his prevention through the rest of the season regardless of how crisp the mountain air starts feeling.
