They tolerate each other, sure. No fights, no drama. But Mittens still hisses if Buster gets too close to her spot on the couch, and he still barks at her when she jumps up somewhere unexpected. We were hoping for one of those viral cuddle-buddy situations and got roommates who mostly ignore each other instead. Is that just how it goes sometimes or is there more we could be doing?

honestly this made me laugh, King acts the exact same way with our old dog before he passed, total roommates energy the whole time 😭 some pets just aren't going to be best friends and that's ok too
