Closing out July's prevention schedule, one month of real trail data in the books

Kept a rough log all month of what Enzo actually encountered out on the trails, more ticks found this July than any prior month I've tracked, humidity clearly played a role. Prevention held up, no incidents, but the log itself has been eye-opening about just how much exposure a genuinely active summer brings. Heading into August with the same routine, no plans to loosen up just because the month's ending.

Love that you're tracking this so carefully, might actually start doing the same with Scout's trail runs. Good habit to build going forward.

Good discipline keeping the routine steady instead of easing off as the month winds down, exposure doesn't really follow a calendar. Listing page here for anyone considering a Poodle: https://allinpets.com/pets/dogs/poodle/

Smart to actually log it instead of relying on impression alone, real data like that is way more useful for planning next season. There's a solid resource on seasonal risk that fits this well: https://allinpets.com/blog/dogs/summer-parasites-in-dogs-breed-by-breed-guide-61/
