Fallen leaves are apparently just as good a hiding spot as tall summer grass
Figured tick season was mostly a summer thing and started easing off a bit, then found one tucked in Clyde's ear after a walk through a pile of leaves this week. Turns out leaf litter holds onto them just fine into fall, especially with those ears of his dragging right through every pile he passes. Back to the full nightly check, no more assuming the season's winding down on its own.
