Fallen leaves are apparently just as good a hiding spot as tall summer grass

Figured tick season was mostly a summer thing and started easing off a bit, then found one tucked in Clyde's ear after a walk through a pile of leaves this week. Turns out leaf litter holds onto them just fine into fall, especially with those ears of his dragging right through every pile he passes.
