Natural approach to a hot spot that popped up on Sage this week
Found a raw, irritated patch behind her leg this week, humidity's been brutal and I think she's been overgrooming from the heat. Went with a chamomile compress (no steroids, nothing synthetic) and it's calmed down nicely after a few days. Always looking for other natural options people have had success with for skin stuff in the summer months.

Omg poor Sage 🥺 chamomile compress is such a good idea, gonna remember that one! Glad it's calming down for her
Also a cheap humidity monitor in the room helps catch the conditions before a hot spot forms honestly. If anyone's shopping for the breed, listings are here: https://allinpets.com/pets/cats/bengal/
Overgrooming from heat/humidity is a common trigger, worth also checking for underlying allergens since hot spots often have a secondary cause. Some general breed context here: https://allinpets.com/blog/cats/top-10-largest-cat-breeds-that-ll-steal-your-heart-18/
