A guy at work almost bought a “purebred Frenchie” for $400 and I can’t stop thinking about it
Nacho loses it every time I leave the apartment now, is this the 4th of July fireworks starting alre
Nacho figured out how to fake a limp for sympathy and I am both impressed and concerned
Aww Nacho sounds like such a smart boy honestly, he knows his limits better than we do sometimes! Honey does the same thing in TN summers, just refuses and I've learned to just listen to her on it. You're doing great by him 💛
I track Byte's (my Maine Coon lol not a dog I know) indoor temp with a $20 smart sensor and honestly worth doing for any pet in a hot climate, you'd be surprised how much a room can swing during the day. Also if anyone's shopping around, the breed listings page has a decent number of FL breeders right now: https://allinpets.com/pets/dogs/french-bulldog/
Yeah this is just the reality of owning a brachy breed in a hot state, no way around it. I breed Frenchies and I tell every single buyer in FL/TX/AZ: if you can't commit to AC + early/late walks only, this isn't your breed. There's a solid rundown on exactly this here if it helps: https://allinpets.com/blog/dog-breeds/french-bulldog-florida-guide-40/
