Vet heard a slight heart murmur in Biscuit, anyone else gone through this with a Cavalier?
She's only 6 months old. The vet said it could be completely normal and resolve on its own, or it could be the start of something they monitor closely as she gets older since apparently the breed is known for heart issues. I've read a bit about this but I'd rather hear from people who've actually lived through it. Did your vet recheck in a few months, or refer you straight to a cardiologist?

Sending good thoughts your way (and Biscuit's). It's scary hearing anything about your puppy's heart this young, even if it ends up being nothing.
A grade 1 or 2 murmur at this age is often just incidental and not a sign of disease yet, but I'd still ask for a cardiology referral given the breed, just to get a baseline echo on record. I think most vets will want to recheck around 12 months if it stays mild. Try not to panic too much in the meantime, easier said than done I know.
