Humidity plus long ears is its own specific summer challenge
Biscuit's ears trap moisture badly this time of year, and I've had to add a mid-week check on top of the usual routine just to catch anything before it turns into a full infection. Wipe down, dry thoroughly, check for smell or redness, every few days without fail through the humid stretch. Long-eared breed owners, has your ear routine changed at all once real summer humidity set in?

I think this is such a smart adjustment honestly, humidity really does change the whole risk picture for ear-flap breeds. Luna's a Siamese so different concern but the same principle of adjusting routine to the season applies.
